While Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital's website had been up and running for many years, I never had my own personal interactive space on the net. And so finally here is a place where I can express myself, my thoughts on anything and everything - a place that is open to all yet personal, a place that is interactive and accessible , a place that I call 'My Eye Space'.
Welcome on board!

ReplyDeletegreat!! your own virtual space..
ReplyDeletesure it will be full of ideas, thoughts and action..thats the way to go boss..
here is my share, i received this poem from a friend...
Be understanding to your perceived enemies..
Be loyal to your friends.
Be strong enough to face the world each day.
Be weak enough to know
you cannot do everything alone.
Be generous to those who need your help.
Be frugal with what you need yourself.
Be wise enough to know that
you do not know everything.
Be a leader when you see a path others have missed.
Be a follower when you are shrouded by the mists of uncertainty.
Be first to congratulate an opponent who succeeds.
Be last to criticize a colleague who fails.
Be sure of your final destination, in case you are going the wrong way.
Be loving to those who love you.
Be loving to those who do not love you; they may change.
Above all, be yourself.
Dr.Nirmal Fredrick
Hey Naty, finally an online portal to share your noble thoughts and big ideas with all who care to listen, read & follow. The Kannappan Nayanar story (incidentally my dad's name) is probably the first documentation of eye transplanation and subsequently an autograft as well.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes

Dear Nirmal,

ReplyDeleteHi Nutty,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see and read your blog.Keep up the good work. You are a great Doc and a very good and compassionate human being.Deeply human is also the fascination that we all have for stories and news.Stories that are told today in so many diverse forms ! The fairy tale, the thick novel, the drama, the opera, the ballet, the cinemaetc.have all a story to tell ans we fall a willing prey to its charm, especially when it touches the innermost recesses of our soul and inspires, motivates and encourages us to be better human beings.
